Networking, education, insurance and buying programs are all common reasons for joining an industry’s association, but like any business decision, becoming a member of Printing Industries of New England (PINE) should be evaluated based on each company’s assessment of its potential Return On Investment (ROI) for its dues dollar. Of course, every membership needs to take into consideration intangible benefits including networking opportunities, collaboration with other graphic communications firms and having a trusted advisor at the Association to discuss your business issues.
Printing Industries of New England (PINE) is a trade association, supporting print and graphic communication service providers and their technology partners for over 138 years. PINE offers programs and services to enhance efficiency and profitability in the printing industry, such as workers’ compensation, energy procurement, and discounted credit card processing, to name a few. PINE is part of the Americas Printing Association Network (APAN), representing more than 5,000 industry members working with 13 industry associations to actively provide the most accurate and up-to-date technical, environmental, and business-related services available in the graphic/printing industries.
PINE offers three options for membership:
- Education membership is offered to colleges and high schools with vocational programs.
- Associate memberships are offered to suppliers, service organizations, and manufacturers to the industry.
- Printer (active) memberships, those not defined above.
