OSHA 10-hour General Industry
Outreach Training will help you and your employees work safer, lower
your workers’ compensation and increase your compliance with
OSHA regulations. The training will be geared specifically
toward the printing industry and the hazards associated with the
industry. Completion of this course will show a “good-faith”
effort to OSHA toward making your plant safer. This “good-faith”
will be of value if your facility is ever inspected by OSHA.
Recommended Students
Production workers, supervisors,
safety committee members, HR staff, managers and owners will benefit
from attending the course.
Course will be limited to 25 students.

Course Instructor
Mark Flannery is director of environmental
affairs at PINE. Mark is an authorized outreach trainer through
OSHA and has more than 10 years of experience assisting printing companies
with their safety issues. Mark visits approximately 100 printing
companies throughout New England annually. Mark has a bachelor’s
degree in chemical engineering and is a registered Engineer-in-Training..

Each topic will be customized for the printing
industry.
Course Materials, Handouts and Completion
Cards
Each student will receive a course
booklet with detailed information about each topic discussed. One
CD-ROM with the instructor’s presentation files (most in PowerPoint)
and with sample OSHA programs will also be included.
Each student that successfully completes the course
will receive a Course Completion Card
from OSHA. These cards will be signed by the instructor and include
the date the course was completed.
